![]() ![]() John you referring to the renaming of the downloaded files? if yes then it is an existing bug in Chrome that google needs to Hello, I am talking about a bug / conflict that only happens when I have the Malwarebytes Browser Extension installed when trying to download files (videos) with the Video DownloadHelper Extension, when there is a video that can be downloaded on a page by that extension it will list the name and you can download the video. I like the Malwarebytes extension and I would like to be able to use it again full-time one day and recommend it to others if this problem is fixed one day. This problem is pretty annoying for me and has prevented me from using the Malwarebytes extension for long, I have to keep disabling it, and so I usually give up using it until the next version comes out hoping that it will be fixed. This conflict is still there, I was asked to report it here when I emailed Malwarebytes again to see if this bug was on the list of bugs to be fixed. I am not sure if this happens on Firefox too or not because I do not have Firefox installed. When I disable Malwarebytes For Chrome this problem goes away, but if I have it enabled then the problem returns so I either have to keep manually entering the title every time I want to save a video or I have to disable the Malwarebytes extension. I would like to report a possible bug with the Malwarebytes For Chrome browser extension (previous version and current version) where it seems to conflict with the Video DownloadHelper extension for Chrome () so when you click to download a video with that extension the name in the Save As Box will be random numbers (example: 348546) instead of the name (example: Flying Cat Video) that is displayed in that extension before you click to save the video.
